The first week of the Stanford Ignite Ukraine 3.0 program has concluded \u2014 the third cohort of Ukrainian entrepreneurs studying at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The program brought together 41 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses from Ukraine who are working on developing the country\u2019s future economy. One of the key events of the week was a meeting between program participants, organizers, and patrons of the initiative.<\/span><\/p>

This was reported by the <\/span>\u00a0Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Ukrainian Catholic University Foundation<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The first week of studies on the Stanford GSB campus became an intensive stage of work for participants. Entrepreneurs prepared market reports, presented their projects, and received professional feedback for the further development of their businesses.<\/span><\/p>

An important part of the program was the Ignite Circles format \u2014 small group sessions where participants discussed challenges, shared experiences, and explored new approaches to company growth.<\/span><\/p>

As part of the training, participants also attended an intensive session with one of the program\u2019s initiators and the person who provided seed funding for its launch \u2014 Nataliya Anon, CEO of Svitla Systems and a member of the board of the Ukrainian Catholic University Foundation. As a graduate of Stanford Graduate School of Business, she recognized an opportunity to create a global learning and development environment for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/p>

Nataliya Anon shared the story of building and scaling Svitla Systems from a small startup into a global technology company. In her view, supporting Ukrainian entrepreneurs today means strengthening resilience, competitiveness, and long-term recovery.<\/p>

Most conversations about rebuilding Ukraine focus on infrastructure. I believe sustainable recovery starts with people. Entrepreneurs are multipliers who create jobs, strengthen industries, and move economies forward.\nThis week, I spent time with this incredible group at Stanford University and shared Svitla Systems\u2019 journey from startup to global company. On May 4 in Palo Alto, the Ukrainian Catholic University Foundation and the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco also hosted a networking reception for participants at the Stanford Faculty Club. <\/span>Stanford Faculty Club<\/span> \u0434\u043b\u044f \u0443\u0447\u0430\u0441\u043d\u0438\u043a\u0456\u0432 \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0433\u0440\u0430\u043c\u0438.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The reception gathered some of Ukraine\u2019s most promising entrepreneurial leaders, members of the Silicon Valley community, and partners ready to support Ukraine\u2019s recovery. Among those present was UCU graduate Iryna Zhluktenko, who once studied through a scholarship provided by Nataliya Anon and later continued her education at the Paris School of Economics. Today, she leads the Dzyga\u2019s Paw Charitable Foundation, which raises more than $6 million annually to support Ukraine\u2019s front lines.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The week also included a meeting with the Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco, Dmytro Kushneruk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Organizers emphasized that after completing their studies at Stanford Graduate School of Business, participants will return to Ukraine to apply their newly acquired knowledge in their own companies and contribute to the country\u2019s economic recovery.<\/span><\/p>

Stanford Ignite Ukraine is an educational program developed by Stanford Graduate School of Business, particularly by Stanford GSB professor Yossi Feinberg, and adapted for the Ukrainian context by the Ideas Center UCU team of the Ukrainian Catholic University at the initiative of Nataliya Anon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The program is designed for Ukrainian small and medium-sized business owners seeking to implement innovation, develop teams, and scale their operations. Its mission is to support talented entrepreneurs building Ukraine\u2019s economic future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The program provides access to world-class business education, practical approaches, mentorship, and international perspectives. Participants undergo intensive training in entrepreneurship, strategy, finance, sales, negotiations, team development, and scaling businesses for global markets.<\/span><\/p>

Ideas Center UCU is the center for the development of ideas, entrepreneurship, and innovation at the Ukrainian Catholic University. The center implements programs for students and entrepreneurs, promotes the development of an innovative environment, and supports businesses at various stages of growth.<\/span><\/p>
