The assistance is provided in cooperation with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, in particular with the participation of Metropolitan Sergiy, who coordinates the work of humanitarian hubs in Ukraine, including in Dnipro.
This is a systematic support for the civilian population and internally displaced persons, which includes the delivery of food and drinking water, provision of clothing and basic necessities, the transfer of medicines and medical kits, support for the elderly, and assistance to refugees and internally displaced persons from frontline and occupied territories.
According to representatives of humanitarian centers, in the Dnipro hub alone, the number of registered aid recipients exceeded two million people, while the real scale of support is greater, since in the first months of the war, aid was often provided without formal registration.
Humanitarian activities are carried out with the support of parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, volunteers of the Ukrainian diaspora, and philanthropists. Logistics include regular humanitarian convoys from the USA to Ukraine, as well as the distribution of aid through local warehouses and partner organizations.
The work is coordinated with the blessing of Metropolitan Anthony and under the general direction of Archbishop Daniel.
