The US government will soon announce a new military aid package for Ukraine worth more than $2.3 billion, including anti-tank weapons, ammunition for the Patriot and other air defence systems.
This was announced by US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin during a meeting with Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov in Washington today.
"I am proud that the United States will soon announce more than $2.3 billion in new security assistance to Ukraine," said US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin.
The package will be made available to Kyiv from existing reserves under the authority of the US President to meet Ukraine's urgent needs.
