The United States is preparing a significant aid package for Ukraine, which will include a wide range of assistance, and plans to announce it by the end of the month.

This was reported by National Security Advisor to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan at the Yalta European Strategy Forum.

"I meet with my team every day to think about what means, what tools we need to put in place to stabilize the front and make sure that the Russian offensive is met with fierce resistance and that we deny Russia the opportunity to make any kind of breakthrough that would lead to strategic benefits from their continued advance to the east", Sullivan said.

Sullivan emphasized that the United States is doing everything possible to quickly deliver needed weapons, including 155mm shells and redirecting Patriot missiles that should have been delivered to allies.

"I said take all these missiles, every single one of them, and send them to Ukraine... And if you look at the cost of that, it's a lot of money, given the number and the size and the intensity of these deliveries since the beginning of the war. I'm proud of what we've done, but as President Zelensky said on stage, given what Ukraine is facing, we need to do more and better, and I agree with that", the Biden aide stressed.

He also commented on the delays in aid, noting that it is not a matter of political will, but of logistics.
