The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) is initiating a global advocacy campaign, Stand with Ukraine, to remind the world of the third year of full-scale war, its consequences, and the urgent need for continued international support for Ukraine. The campaign aims to draw the attention of democratic governments to Ukraine’s needs, urge them to strengthen their support, honor the victims of Russian aggression, and increase sanctions pressure on Russia.

"This is a way to remind the international community that everyone can contribute to the fight for peace and justice. Together, we will show solidarity with Ukraine and call for decisive action," emphasized Volodymyr Kohutyak, Head of the UWC Advocacy Committee.
On February 24 at 6:00 PM local time, a symbolic event, "Global Alarm," will take place in various countries—Ukrainian communities worldwide will sound air raid sirens, reminding the world that the war continues and urging action.
Over two days, February 23-24, global events will be held across the world, including rallies, marches, flash mobs, prayer gatherings, moments of silence, landmark illuminations in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, as well as lectures, exhibitions, and film screenings.
The UWC calls on all Ukrainians and international partners to join the "Stand with Ukraine" campaign and remind the world that Ukraine needs support. Leading up to February 24, the focus will be on working with political forces and engaging in advocacy activities. Key priorities include security, military assistance, and sanctions pressure on Russia. Advocacy efforts will also push for the confiscation of Russian assets, recognition of Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, and increased international pressure.
Other priorities include the return of deported Ukrainian children, the protection of prisoners of war, and the investigation of war crimes. The campaign also calls for Russia’s exclusion from international organizations and the imposition of a full embargo on its energy resources.
