On February 24, 2025, the world premiere of the documentary film "UKRAINE UNDER FIRE | A Film About War & Resilience" will take place in the U.S. capital. The screening will be held at the renowned Lisner Auditorium at George Washington University. This event is dedicated to the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine—the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.
This documentary is a joint American-Ukrainian project that tells the story of the unbreakable resilience of Ukrainians during the war. At the heart of the film is Olha Butko, a well-known Ukrainian television journalist, and Jordan Campbell, an American filmmaker and journalist who worked in frontline conditions, documenting the war in Ukraine. The film highlights real stories of resistance, war crimes, and the Ukrainian struggle for freedom.
