
A night of honor and support for Ukraine’s defenders took place in Austin, Texas. The Ukrainian community gathered at Saengerrunde Hall for the charity event "Defenders of Freedom: A Tribute to the Brave," organized by the Liberty Ukraine Foundation. The evening served as a powerful reminder of the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the unwavering global support for their fight for freedom.

The organizers prepared a night filled with live music and fundraising initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine.
The event's program was rich and inspiring, featuring performances by Bria Blessing, Ukrainian singer Oleksandr Pavlik, and Oleksandra Pelitu, as well as a piano concert by Oleksandr Seidin. The Sonyashnyk Dance Group performed traditional Ukrainian folk dances.
A buffet-style dinner featuring traditional Ukrainian appetizers and desserts was accompanied by exclusive frontline reports showcasing the bravery of Ukrainian defenders.
"I pay tribute to each of you who, like me, have joined in supporting Liberty Ukraine. Everyone who donates money and spends their time expresses their stance on the importance of this cause. I am here because I believe in this fight, just as I have for the past three years. was inspired by the Ukrainian community, which stands daily in front of the Capitol—regardless of the weather—to show their support. They also channel their energy as volunteers, working to help those on the front lines who demonstrate incredible courage," said Congressman Lloyd Doggett, a strong supporter of Ukraine, during his speech.

The event had a charitable purpose, featuring a silent auction with unique memorabilia and cultural artifacts. All funds raised during the event will be directed toward purchasing evacuation vehicles and financing urgent repairs for Ukrainian troops.
"I also want to make an important announcement: together, we have raised nearly $16 million! Every cent of these funds goes directly to those fighting for Ukraine. None of us receive a salary for what we do—I keep repeating this. We have no offices or unnecessary expenses. Our hearts and souls are fully dedicated to ensuring that Ukrainian warriors have everything they need to survive and continue the fight," emphasized Tonya Levchuk.
