On March 24, the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the first summit of the global coalition Fostering the Future Together at the White House, where she presented Ukrainian achievements in the field of digitalization and education.
This was reported by Olena Zelenska on Facebook.
““Fostering the Future Together” is the name of the summit of the global coalition, which was launched by the First Lady of the United States during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly. Its goal is to unite countries around expanding the opportunities of children through education and the use of the latest technologies. In the next two days, representatives of 45 countries, including Ukraine, and 28 technology companies will gather at the first Fostering the Future Together summit at the White House. Today I had the opportunity to talk about our achievements in digitalization at the summit,” the post says.
As reported, during her speech, Zelenska spoke about the “Diya” application, which allowed to ensure the continuity of state services even during a full-scale war. In particular, Ukrainians could open a business, receive payments, use services and even get married online. For these achievements, the application was included in the list of the best inventions of the year according to TIME.
It is also noted that special attention was paid to educational initiatives. This is the “Diya.Education” platform, which provides an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills for free, as well as the “Mriya” digital school platform, to which every fourth educational institution in Ukraine is already connected. In addition, the “Mriya.Preschool” project is already being implemented in 35 kindergartens in six regions.
“For us, this is fundamental: no child and no adult should lose access to education, regardless of the circumstances,” the post emphasizes.
According to the first lady, the development of artificial intelligence is also an important direction. In particular, since 2025, Ukraine has been operating a national center, WINWIN AI Center of Excellence, which is engaged in the integration of AI into the public sphere.
“We join Mrs. Trump’s initiative and see it as an important step towards raising the topic of child development and education to the global level and uniting countries around shared responsibility,” she concluded.
