Ukrainian-American Chamber of Commerce Office Opens in Dallas

The grand opening of the Ukrainian-American Chamber of Commerce office took place in Dallas, Texas. The new public organization is designed to develop business, cultural, and advocacy initiatives in support of Ukraine, as well as strengthen cooperation between Dallas and Kharkiv.

This was reported by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Houston.

The grand opening was attended by the Consul General of Ukraine in Houston, Vitaly Moshkivskyi, and the Head of the Department of International Relations and Protocol of the Dallas City Hall, Beth Huddleston.

The Ukrainian-American Chamber of Commerce was headed by Tamara Velsher. According to the organizers, the organization’s activities will be aimed at developing economic cooperation, implementing cultural projects, advocating for Ukrainian interests in the United States, and supporting the Ukrainian community.

One of the key areas of the Chamber's work will be to deepen partnership between Dallas and Kharkiv, develop business contacts, and support joint initiatives and projects that will contribute to the reconstruction and economic development of Ukraine.

The Consulate General of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Dallas City Hall for supporting the Ukrainian community and assisting in the creation of a new center.

"We sincerely thank the Dallas City Hall for its assistance in allocating space for the Chamber's office and supporting this important initiative. We also congratulate the Chamber team and the Ukrainian community of Dallas on this significant event," the Consulate General of Ukraine in Houston noted.
