A concert by the Ukrainian Village Band took place in Red Wing, Minnesota, as part of the Concerts in the Park summer series of free concerts organized by Red Wing Arts. The performance, titled “Ukrainian Party,” brought residents and visitors together at the Central Park Bandshell.

The Ukrainian Village Band lineup includes Lev Freiman (guitar), Mara Giesen (violin), Stefan Ivashkevych (drums), Emily Judge-Becker (violin and vocals), Oleksii Khrystych (accordion and vocals), and Austin Pekarna (bass guitar).
After the event, Red Wing Arts thanked Ukrainian Village Band for the musical evening and the audience for attending.
As part of the Concerts in the Park series, concerts are held every Wednesday from June 3 through August 26, 2026. All concerts are free and open to visitors of all ages. Organizers encourage families and friends to bring their own chairs and drinks and spend evenings outdoors.
Red Wing Arts holds the concert series in Central Park, located in the heart of Red Wing’s historic district. Every year, the organization puts together a program featuring a variety of regional bands, presenting audiences with musicians and genres to suit different tastes. The Ukrainian performance was one of the concerts in this year’s summer program.
After the concert, organizers called the evening a true party and thanked the band and everyone who took part in the event.
