The “Ukrainian Evenings,” a charity event organized by the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) Georgia Branch, brought together hundreds of community members. The event was attended by 250 guests, and through ticket sales, an auction, and donations, $12,000 was raised to help Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) Georgia Branch has summarized the results of the “Ukrainian Evenings” charity event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. The festive evening was held in Roswell and brought the Ukrainian community together around Ukrainian music, dance, national cuisine, and charity.
According to the organizers, 250 tickets were sold, and thanks to the charity auction, donations and contributions of the participants, 12 thousand US dollars were raised.
“Together we managed to raise $12,000 for Ukraine! Our “Ukrainian parties” are behind us, but the emotions and results remain with us,” the Georgia Branch noted.
All funds raised will be directed to help Ukraine in accordance with current humanitarian needs and requests.
The evening’s program included Ukrainian music, dances, traditional cuisine, a charity auction, as well as the STRUS Live DJ Set, which became one of the main musical events of the event.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated in the evening.
“On the occasion of the International Day of Charity, I would like to especially thank everyone who became a part of this good cause – our guests, volunteers, sponsors, partners, artists and everyone who helped and supported. "This $12,000 is the result of our joint work, concern and love for Ukraine," the Ukrainian Congressional Committee of America (Georgia) emphasized.
The UCCA notes that charitable activities of the Ukrainian community in the United States remain an important tool for supporting Ukraine and uniting Ukrainians abroad around a common goal.
