The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) has launched a campaign to commemorate Ukraine's Independence Day with the launch of an interactive global map. As part of the campaign, the organizations are calling on Ukrainian communities and their friends around the world to organize demonstrations and events to demonstrate the unity of the Ukrainian people and support for Ukraine. The map of events allows you to see the planned events, their location and time. Anyone can add their event to the list by following the here. In addition, materials for actions, banners and a declaration for a just and sustainable peace for Ukraine are available on a specially created campaign page.
At the time of the map's launch, more than 80 events had been registered in 14 countries. Information about these events can be found on the campaign website. Organizers encourage everyone to join the campaign, register new events using the form in the "Register an Event" block on the map, and sign the declaration.
"As we approach the 33rd anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's independence, we urge Ukrainian communities and friends of Ukraine to take action - both online and in the streets. Post messages in support of Ukraine using the hashtag #StandwithUkraine and gather for peaceful rallies so that the whole world can see that we are a united 60 million people and that we stand with all peace-loving people of the world in support of Ukraine", the organizers said.
