Exhibition of drawings by young people from Kharkiv in New York: a symbol of hope and unity

 An exhibition of drawings by young artists from Kharkiv dedicated to the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine and the Heroic City of Kharkiv was opened at the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations in New York. The exhibition "The World I Want to Live in. Storks" presents the works of children who express their hope for a better future through their art.

This was reported by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations.

The exhibition opened with the national anthem of Ukraine, followed by a speech by Sergiy Dvornik, Deputy Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine to the United Nations. He emphasized the importance of international support for Ukraine to achieve a just and sustainable peace.

Event organizer and Honorary Ambassador of Kharkiv to the United States Victoria Vennikova spoke about efforts to support Kharkiv's educational institutions and children affected by the war.

Ukrainian soldiers also spoke at the event: Senior Lieutenant Mykola Melnyk, Captain Serhiy Maydanyuk, and Senior Lieutenant Oles Skorchenko. They told the audience about the heroic struggle of our defenders against the Russian aggression.
