The first session of the National Multidisciplinary Test for Ukrainian applicants from the U.S. has begun in Chicago

The main session of the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT) began at the RefugeeOne service center in Chicago, which is the only place in the US where applicants can take the exam for admission to Ukrainian and European universities this year.

This was reported by the test organizers of the Ukrainian American Community of Chicago (Illinois) and the Ukrainian American Community School Board in the United States.

Thanks to the Ukrainian community's joint efforts, the first main session of the NMT began on June 10 in Chicago, providing Ukrainian applicants from the United States with an opportunity to enroll in higher education institutions in Ukraine and Europe.

Chicago is the only city in the United States where the test is being held this year, so participants gathered there from Arizona, Illinois, Connecticut, New York, California, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas. Twenty-five people took part in the first session.

"I warmly welcome the test participants and wish them success and fulfillment of all their educational plans," said Serhiy Kaledov, Consul General of Ukraine in Chicago, who attended the opening ceremony.

SKU Vice President Marta Farion and the President of the Illinois Branch of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Dr. Maria Dmytriv-Kapeniak, addressed the students with words of support.

Special thanks were expressed to RefugeeOne for providing modern testing facilities.

Six NMT sessions are planned in Chicago this year, which will be held simultaneously with the tests in Ukraine.
