The moving concert, "An Evening of Ukrainian Songs," took place at Holy Trinity Church on Staten Island. The evening became a powerful act of community unity to support the wounded defenders.

Shanis, the initiator of the event, attracted a wide audience with her voice and sincerity. During the concert, $6,000 was raised for the treatment and prosthetics of Ukrainian soldiers undergoing rehabilitation in the United States through the Revived Soldiers Ukraine fund.
Her talent and sincerity made the evening magical and gave hope to our heroes. The concert, "An Evening of Ukrainian Songs," was a true manifestation of the love, unity, and compassion of the Ukrainian community in New York. Thanks to Shanis's initiative, $6,000 was raised for the treatment and prosthetics of wounded Ukrainian defenders in the United States after expenses were covered," noted Revived Soldiers Ukraine.
"We were very worried about how many people would come and how much we would raise. But this evening exceeded all expectations. Thank you to everyone who shared their hearts and time with us. It is invaluable," said Shanis, the artist herself, sharing her impressions of the event.
Funds were raised through ticket sales, a charity auction with three lots, merchandise sales, and individual donations. Yelyzaveta Chubenko, a volunteer, conducted the auction. Holy Trinity Church hosted the event and provided refreshments for the guests.
The special guests of the evening were Iryna Vashchuk-Disipio, president of Revived Soldiers Ukraine, and David Pyasetsky, a severely wounded soldier of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with his wife, Diana. Thanks to the foundation's help, David is currently undergoing complex treatment and prosthetics in Philadelphia.
