The selection for the third set of the Stanford Ignite Ukraine educational program, implemented by the Ideas Center of the Ukrainian Catholic University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business with the support of Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, UCU Business School and Ukrainian Startup FundThe program is designed to support the development of Ukrainian small and medium-sized businesses by combining training, innovation and international experience.

“This year, 445 applications were received from Ukrainian small and medium-sized business entrepreneurs. 42 finalists have been invited to participate, who will begin their studies in March,” the message says. – йдеться у повідомленні.
The program will last eight weeks and includes one week of intensive training at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, four weeks of online modules and three weeks of training at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in the USA. The organizers cover the cost of the educational part of the program, while the participants pay for accommodation, logistics and flights themselves.
The average age of applicants this year was reportedly 38 years. Among them, 40% are women and 60% are men. Over 48% of applicants have over ten years of entrepreneurial experience. Business structure: 70% service companies and 30% manufacturing. The largest number of applications came from Kyiv and Lviv.
The program was created to provide Ukrainian entrepreneurs with tools for global scaling, adaptation to international markets, innovative thinking and building sustainable business models. Participants will work on real projects that will be presented to investors in the final.
“We strive to provide Ukrainian entrepreneurs with the opportunity to move to a new level of development, strengthen international integration and implement their business ideas,” the organizers note.
42 entrepreneurs from various industries were selected to participate in the program: IT, medtech, manufacturing, food industry, design, energy, agritech, education, acceleration platforms and enterprises in the field of mental health.
Among them are the co-founders of Metalworkshop, Veteran Hub, Bacara Coffee, Cardiomo, Norda Dynamics, Unisolar, Panem Agency, Mate academy, MagneticOne Group, Sombra, AncientSmithy, DrugCard, Beholder, Re[Sens], R.Flo, GHEESOME platforms, as well as founders of startups and innovative companies from Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Odessa, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Lutsk and other cities.
Among the key selection criteria were motivation, readiness for transformation, innovative approach and intention to scale in international markets.
