The Biggest Crimean Chiberek of WA State, a charity gastronomic event dedicated to Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian cuisine and support for Ukraine, was held in Renton, Washington. During the event, participants prepared and tasted chiberek, participated in a cooking master class, listened to live music, and joined a charity fundraiser.

One of the central parts of the program was the preparation of chiberek outdoors. Guests could purchase ready-made hot or frozen chiberek, as well as take part in a cooking master class, during which participants were taught how to prepare the dough and filling for this Crimean dish. After the master class, each participant could take home two chibereks they had prepared themselves.
The program also included musical performances, entertainment, contests, and a photo zone. Fresh fruits and vegetables and the traditional cherry drink were prepared for the guests. Separately, the organizers provided vegetarian options for the dishes.
The main goal of the event was to raise funds to support the Ukrainian military. According to the results of the event, 3 thousand dollars were collected. The funds are directed to support the 5th and 25th assault brigades, as well as the Lozovo Volunteer Center, which delivers aid to the Ukrainian military in Donbas every Saturday.
Volunteers and representatives of the Ukrainian community joined the event. Participants helped organize the event and raise funds.
Among the guests was Becky Bendixen from Alaska, who, according to the organizers, regularly supports Ukraine with donations, helps the Ukrainian military and teaches them English. After the start of the full-scale invasion, she took a genetic test and learned about her Ukrainian origin. After that, Becky got a trident tattooed on her chest.
The organizers thanked all participants, volunteers, and benefactors who helped organize the event and raise funds.
