Wawarsing (New York) is planning a hot weekend at UkraineFest: 2024 Soyuzivka Summer Festival - a celebration of Ukrainian culture with music, art and views of the Catskill Mountains!
The festival will feature the winners of national and international competitions and festivals, the Yaroslav-Na duo, the Malvy bandura duo and other popular Ukrainian artists and MCs, as well as dance performances by the Ukrainian Dance Workshop. The headliner of the event will be a performance by the Ukrainian ska-punk band Mad Heads from Kyiv.
The organisers, the Ukrainian Heritage Centre, are preparing a huge selection of arts, crafts and souvenirs from more than 20 vendors, as well as a variety of Ukrainian delicacies at three locations.
