Ukraine finished performances at the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris

Ukrainian athletes have finished their performances at the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris. Our team won three gold medals at the Games in France, the best result in 12 years at the Olympic level. Ukraine was represented at the Summer Olympics by 140 athletes who competed in 23 sports.

This was reported  by Suspilne-Sport.

In total, our Olympians won 12 medals. The last medal was won by wrestler Iryna Kolyadenko, who won silver in the 62 kg category.

Yaroslava Maguchikh (athletics, high jump), Oleksandr Khyzhnyak (boxing, 80 kg) and the women's sabre fencing team (Olga Harlan, Alina Komashchuk, Olena Kravatska, Yulia Bakastova) also won gold medals for Ukraine.

Serhii Kulish (small-bore rifle, three-position shooting), Ilya Kovtun (gymnastics, uneven bars), Liudmyla Luzan, Anastasiia Rybachok (rowing, canoe double, 500 meters), Parviz Nasibov (Greco-Roman wrestling, 67 kg) and Iryna Koliadenko (freestyle wrestling, 62 kg) brought silver medals to the country.

Olga Harlan (fencing, sabre), Iryna Gerashchenko (athletics, high jump), Mykhailo Kokhan (athletics, hammer) and Zhan Beleniuk (Greco-Roman wrestling, 87 kg) won bronze medals.
