A solemn celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day was held in Passaic, New Jersey, organized by the Ukrainian Wave Foundation in conjunction with St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church.

The event was held in a warm and festive atmosphere, with a brightly decorated hall, a raffle and goodies. The guests were offered delicious coffee and the participants were dressed in embroidered shirts.
A special feature of the event was a charity auction of a poster signed by the former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny. All proceeds from the event will be used to support Ukraine and its defenders.
During the celebration, the national flag of Ukraine was raised and the fighters for Ukraine's independence were honored. The blue and yellow symbol was also carried around the hall. The participants prayed together for the victory of our country. Young Ukrainians recited poems about Ukraine from the stage.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all the participants of the celebration, as well as to the Church of St. Nicholas in Paseik and its rector Andriy Dudkevych for their support in the organization of the celebration.
Thanks to the efforts of the organizers and participants, the Independence Day celebration was not only a wonderful cultural event, but also an important charitable initiative.
