In New Orleans (State of Louisiana) на знаменитому майдані Конґо a concert of the eponymous legendary Ukrainian band TNMK took place.

"TNMK "Tanok na Maidani Kongo" means more than just a name. Many years ago, these talented artists from Kharkiv chose a name that embodies freedom and cultural identity, drawing inspiration from Congo Square in New Orleans. What do they dream about? To perform there one day. Our goal? To help America see that Ukraine is much closer than it looks on the map."The organisers noted.
A real highlight was when a representative of the local cultural community joined TNMK on stage.
"Advocacy is not just words, it is an action that goes beyond the office walls. Cultural advocacy builds bridges, connecting Ukraine with the international community and demonstrating our common cultural space", the organisers added.
The event was made possible thanks to the support of the Ukrainian-American Coordination Council MoLoCo and the Ukrainian community in Louisiana.
"I still can't believe we did it. And that you were there. If it wasn't for JT Blatty's photographic documentation, we might not have believed it.", – noted The band's soloists themselves, who performed both their favourite old and new hits on the square.
