The protesters condemned Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukraine, which have resulted in numerous civilian casualties since late August:
- Kharkiv: 41 wounded, including 5 children,
- Poltava: more than 50 dead, 200 wounded after rockets hit a military academy and hospital,
- Lviv: 7 people killed, including four members of the same family.
