The "Run for Freedom" race took place in Kyiv. The event, organized by students of the Kyiv School of Economics together with the American writer and historian Timothy Snyder, gathered about 1,000 participants who traveled the distance to free Ukrainians from Russian captivity. Professor Snyder personally took part in the race, emphasizing the importance of this initiative.
This is reported on the page of KSE Foundation.

The race took place with the participation of military personnel, veterans, relatives of prisoners of war, Ukrainians released from captivity, KSE students and all those who care about the problem of prisoners of war. Participants covered distances of 5 and 10 km, demonstrating their support and solidarity.

"Today we ran, laughed, cried, hugged, greeted each other. We lived. Thanks to those who are in captivity, who are on the front lines, and those who died. Unfortunately, more than 28,000 Ukrainians are still in captivity, and we must constantly remind the world of this. Each of us can be a voice for them." - declare the organizers, among whom are the KSE Foundation, DefDev and the project to support the defenders of Mariupol "Heart of Azovstal".
