A generous autumn day in Philadelphia turned into a true celebration of Ukrainian culture. The annual Autumn Rye Festival was held at the Tryzub Ukrainian Sports Complex in Warrington, Pennsylvania.
This was reported on the event's website.
The annual event was organised by UNWLA Branch 128.
The guests of the festival had an opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Ukrainian traditions. The performance of the artistic theatre group led by the talented Vira Hubitska and the touching songs of the Dzvin choir led by Nestor Kyzymyshyn created a special atmosphere.
For the youngest guests, there was an entertainment area where children could have fun and make new friends.
Fragrant dishes prepared with love added to the festive atmosphere. Guests were able to taste traditional Ukrainian dishes.
A special highlight of the festival was a lottery, the proceeds of which will be used for charity - treatment of orphans and children from low-income families at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
