Christmas Evenings in Passaic: Songs, Traditions and Support for Ukraine

In Passaic, New Jersey, the Ukrainian Wave Foundation held a charity event called "Christmas Evenings". Residents of Passaic and neighboring towns gathered in a festive atmosphere in the hall at 240 Hope Ave. Guests were treated to an eventful program including performances by famous artists, a nativity scene, a delicious dinner and a charity raffle. The funds raised will be used to support the Ukrainian military.

This was reported by the organizer of the event, Ukrainian Wave Foundation.

The event kicked off with a performance by Anna Maria Entertainment and culminated with a Nativity scene recreating the spirit of traditional Ukrainian Christmas, presented by the Ukrainian Wave Foundation. Фонду “Українська Хвиля”.

The main event of the evening was the caroling by the popular band Trioda, which gave the audience an unforgettable performance. The repertoire included traditional Christmas carols such as "New Joy Has Come," "Generous Evening," "Heaven and Earth Are Now Triumphant," and others, as well as modern songs such as "There in Bakhmut" and "Pray, Mother!" which touched the hearts of everyone present. The performance of the English hymn "Hallelujah" and the unique hymn "The Princely Crown" was especially appreciated by the audience.

During the evening everyone could take part in a charity raffle and taste Ukrainian holiday dishes.

The organizers said that all the money raised from ticket sales, as well as contributions from guests, will be used to support the Ukrainian military.
