At the Munich Security Conference, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that putin, the president of russia, intends to involve the president of the USA, Donald Trump, in his unilateral negotiations, turning them into a "виставу". Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine possesses clear intelligence on russia's plans to deploy troops to Belarus this summer. He also stressed that no decisions regarding Ukraine can be made without its participation.

During his speech, Zelensky also noted that it is important for the president of the USA, Trump, to first meet with the Ukrainian side, and only then with the president of rf. He underscored the need for a shared vision and the involvement of European leaders in future negotiations.

Furthermore, Zelensky stated that during his last conversation with Trump, he did not once mention the need for Europe's involvement in the negotiations concerning Ukraine. Zelensky emphasized the importance of European unity and Europe's presence at the negotiation table to avoid decisions being made without its participation. reported, що під час останньої розмови з Трампом той жодного разу не згадав про необхідність участі Європи у переговорах щодо України. Зеленський наголосив на важливості європейської єдності та присутності Європи за столом переговорів, щоб уникнути прийняття рішень без її участі.

And finally, during the conference, Zelensky unveiled a plan to end the war in Ukraine in 2025.

He stressed that for an effective achievement of peace, it is necessary to coordinate military, diplomatic, and economic aspects with western partners.

The main provisions of his plan include the following components:

  • Introducing a new package of sanctions by the EU and the USA, covering the energy sector, financial operations, and high‑tech goods. The plan also calls for blocking potential sanction‑evasion schemes. In addition, strict restrictions will be imposed on russia's state assets.
  • The USA and Europe should increase the supply of long‑range missiles, modern armored vehicles, and air defense systems, including the possible provision of modern F‑16 fighter jets and new unmanned technologies.
  • Ukraine insists on the implementation of a Kyiv security pact, which would entail long‑term defense commitments from its partners. It also plans to establish regional alliances with the Baltic countries, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the USA for rapid response to potential threats. A separate element is the recognition of russia as an aggressor state.
  • Ukraine advocates for the involvement of the USA, EU, and UN in shaping the conditions for the negotiation process, but without concessions in favor of rf. There should also be active involvement of countries from the Global South, including India, Brazil, and South Africa, in support.
  • The launch of a new international economic aid program for Ukraine, which will facilitate the rapid reconstruction of critical infrastructure.
