Pentagon denies Trump's claim of $350 billion in aid to Ukraine

The U.S. Department of Defense and independent analysts have denied President Donald Trump's claim that the United States has provided $350 billion in aid to Ukraine. According to official figures, the total amount of assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion has been about $183 billion, of which $65.9 billion has been military aid.

This was reported by The Voice of America

According to the Interagency Oversight Group, which prepares reports for the U.S. Congress, Congress has appropriated exactly $183 billion for Ukraine since the start of the Great War. The Pentagon confirmed this figure in a comment to Voice of America, noting that $3.9 billion of the total military aid has not yet been spent.

It is also reported that approximately $58 billion of the funds allocated to Ukraine have actually remained in the United States. This money has been used to support the U.S. defense industry, including through the production of new weapons to replace those transferred to Ukraine, or through direct investment in the military sector.

Voice of America asked the White House to clarify Trump's statement and provide any documents that would confirm the amount he mentioned. In response, the White House merely cited official statements made by the current U.S. president regarding assistance to Ukraine.

Thus, official sources confirm that total U.S. aid to Ukraine is much less than Donald Trump stated.
