A cozy musical gathering at Ukraine House in Washington, D.C., brought together lovers of Ukrainian culture and art for a concert by Valeria Vovk dedicated to supporting the charity initiative "Light to Light." This acoustic evening marked the singer's inaugural performance on a charity tour of the United States, serving as a fundraiser for the Tycho Foundation to provide medical equipment, transportation, and drones to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The concert by Ukrainian singer and composer Valeria Vovk in Washington was part of a major charity tour aimed at raising funds to purchase medical equipment for Ukraine. The first performance of the tour took place at Ukraine House, where, as the organizers noted, Valeria's voice “lit up the courtyard, capturing the attention of everyone around.”
"From touching original songs to the timeless classics of Ivasyuk, Valeria's voice lit up our courtyard, capturing the attention of everyone around." This concert was part of her charity tour in support of the 'Light to Light' initiative from the Tycho Foundation," Ukraine House emphasized.
The musical program included compositions from the singer's new album and songs by the legendary Volodymyr Ivasyuk, such as the beloved "Chervona Ruta" and "Ya Pidu v Daleki Hory."
"It will be cozy, warm, and heartfelt," Valeria said in her address to the audience before the start of the tour.
As part of the tour, Valeria Vovk and guitarist Michel Romeo are visiting more than ten cities in the United States. She has already performed in Washington, and her next concerts will take place in Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston, Orlando, and Charlotte.
The funds raised will be used for medical assistance and the purchase of vehicles and drones for the Ukrainian army.
"Friends, I need your support now more than ever. Come sing along and enjoy the songs of Ivasyuk and my own program,” Valeria urges.
