A unique event, “Fashion Dinner with Andre TAN”, took place at Sky Wise Lounge in Brooklyn, New York, blending fashion, Ukrainian identity, and female leadership within an intercultural dialogue in the U.S.

Organized by the non-profit organization Ukrainian Roots Community (URC Life) in collaboration with URC Radio, PWR Media, and ÉSTE Management, the evening marked the first U.S. presentation by iconic Ukrainian designer Andre TAN. He introduced his vision of global fashion trends for the 2025–2026 seasons.

The evening’s program included a red carpet, VIP networking, exclusive engagement with Andre TAN, masterclasses, workshops, panel discussions, and a showcase of new fashion trends. The event’s dress code—Garden Gala Elegance—highlighted the refinement and style of the evening.
As part of the program, fashion and interior designer Ksenia Abakumova (Miami) showcased the Ukrainian brand 2twindesign. Ukrainian designer, founder of a women's clothing brand, model with international experience, and titleholder of Ms. Ukraine World International 2022, Alina Ratii, inspired attendees with her style, ambition, and energy.
Beyond fashion, guests also explored upcoming trends in the legal field. Licensed Florida notary and legal expert with a strong background in Ukrainian law, Nadiya Hryb, provided insights into notarial and legal innovations of 2026. She became a trusted resource for those in need of legal support abroad. Certified aesthetic dentist Natalia Petliuk, based in New York and internationally recognized in cosmetic dentistry, spoke about beauty trends and healthy smiles.
Evening partners included model Viktoria Zharkova—now based in the U.S., crowned Mrs. Ukraine 2025, and soon to represent the country at the World International pageant—as well as pastry chefs Ruslana Kharechko, who has over two years of experience in the U.S., and Aliona Nesteruk, founder of Brooklyn-based COCO Bakery. Keynote speaker Inna Chornokan, a licensed physician and Registered Nurse (USA), expert in injection-based cosmetology, and founder of medical beauty studios in New York, also addressed guests. The evening’s musical atmosphere was curated by renowned Georgian DJ Beburi.
Special attention was given to charitable giving. A key partner of the Fashion Dinner was Branch 137 of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (UNWLA)—an organization that not only preserves Ukrainian traditions in the U.S. but actively supports cultural and humanitarian initiatives. Half of all ticket proceeds purchased through a special link were pledged to UNWLA’s charitable mission. For instance, during a similar event in Chicago, organizers raised over $2,200 in support of the Ukrainian Women’s Association of America.
"This wasn’t just an evening of fashion—it was an evening of action, support, and unity. To support means to act together!" emphasized the event organizers.
They added that Fashion Dinner is another step toward cultural integration of the Ukrainian diaspora in America and a call to collective action in preserving and promoting Ukrainian identity abroad.
Background: Andre TAN is recognized by ELLE as Ukraine’s most famous designer. He is the founder of the unique Smart Couture concept, which blends high fashion and comfort. His clothing is worn by global celebrities, top models, and first ladies. Andre TAN has participated in the world’s most prestigious fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, Los Angeles, Berlin, and Copenhagen. Over the years, he has designed for stars like Paris Hilton, Beyoncé, and Michael Jackson.
