The third annual charity Ukrainian Festival took place in the town of Canadensis, Pennsylvania, organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Michael the Archangel. The event was dedicated to the seventh anniversary of Father Andrian Boyko’s service at the parish, which serves as a spiritual hub for the Ukrainian community in the region.
This was reported by St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Poconos.
The celebration began with a church service, followed by a vibrant festival program. Ukrainian performers and ensembles took to the main stage—including Oksana Bilozir, Shanis, the choirs Pysanka and Kalyna, and Voda Voice. The musical atmosphere was kept lively by the band Kruta Vezha.
Throughout the day, live music filled the festival grounds as people joined in traditional circle dances, sang Ukrainian songs, and enjoyed festive performances. The festival was also attended by Ukrainian veterans currently undergoing rehabilitation in the U.S.

Guests enjoyed traditional Ukrainian cuisine, including varenyky, chebureky, smoked sausages, homemade desserts, and refreshing beverages. A kids’ zone provided entertainment for the youngest guests, and a raffle with prizes added to the festive mood.
Organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the festival’s preparation, highlighting the importance of supporting Ukrainian culture and creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
