During a charity tour of US cities, the famous Ukrainian singer DZIDZIO (Mykhailo Khoma) and the Revived Soldiers Ukraine Foundation raised $260,000 to purchase a da Vinci by Intuitive Surgical robotic surgical system for the Kyiv Military Hospital. The concerts took place in Cleveland, Detroit, New York, Chicago, Connecticut, and Philadelphia.
This was reported by Revived Soldiers Ukraine.
“We managed to raise $260,000 for the da Vinci by Intuitive Surgical system for the Kyiv Military Hospital together with the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – this was the result of the large charity tour of DZIDZIO together with Revived Soldiers Ukraine in US cities,” the foundation reported.
As noted, the tour took place in six American cities and united the Ukrainian community around the support of wounded Ukrainian soldiers who are undergoing treatment, prosthetics and rehabilitation in the USA and Ukraine.
Revived Soldiers Ukraine emphasized that Mykhailo Khoma has been supporting the foundation’s activities and helping Ukrainian defenders for many years.
“For Revived Soldiers Ukraine, it is especially valuable that Mykhailo Khoma DZIDZIO has been a great friend of our foundation for many years and consistently supports Ukrainian soldiers who are undergoing treatment, prosthetics and rehabilitation after serious injuries in the USA and Ukraine. A special sincere thank you to all the musicians of DZIDZIO and the creative team of the tour for the incredible atmosphere, emotions and heart invested in these concerts!”, the message says.
It is also reported that the heroes of the concerts were seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers who are currently undergoing prosthetics and treatment in the USA. Event attendees had the opportunity to hear their personal stories and learn more about the path to recovery after injuries.
Charity auctions held a special place during the tour. One of the most popular lots was a set of bullet casings made from live cartridges, which were sold for a total of $11,500. According to the foundation, the cartridges were received from Ukrainian border guards in Bakhmut a few months before the loss of the city.
“Every contribution, every purchased lot and every ticket is a real help to Ukrainian Heroes who are fighting for their recovery after the war today,” the organization emphasized.
The foundation thanked the Ukrainian communities, sponsors, partners and volunteers in each of the cities of the tour who helped organize concerts and charity auctions.
“This tour has proven once again: Ukrainians around the world remain united in supporting their Heroes. Together, we give our soldiers a chance for recovery, a new life and faith in the future,” Revived Soldiers Ukraine summarized.
