This was reported by St. Michael The Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church.
The first day of the camp began with the Holy Liturgy. After a joint prayer, the children were invited to get acquainted, team activities, dances, sports games and watching a movie. The participants also came up with names for their groups and prepared creative presentations.
"This was a truly wonderful start to our camp," the organizers noted.
Representatives of the "Sokil" school joined the program, who conducted interesting classes for the children, and football coaches organized sports training for the young participants.
During the following days of the camp, the children participated in catechisms, sports competitions, team games and creative activities. The water slides were especially popular, which became a real summer entertainment for the participants.
“During these days, we got to know each other, introduced our groups, participated in catechisms, danced bansas, played sports games, had fun on the water slides and made new friends,” the organizers shared.
Among the special guests of the camp was Olya Romanko, who conducted an interactive lesson for the children “The Science of Soap Bubbles”. Andriyana Sydoryak also visited the children, who spoke about the importance of dental care and the formation of healthy habits.
“The first days of our summer camp were extremely inspiring. The children prayed, got to know each other, played games, sang and danced and discovered God’s love for themselves,” the parish emphasized.
