Sacramento, California, hosted another monthly Ukrainian Night prayer evening, which brought together representatives of the Ukrainian community, clergy, and all who support Ukraine. Participants prayed together for the victory of Ukraine, its defenders, war victims, and a peaceful future for the Ukrainian people.

During the July meeting, participants offered prayers for Ukrainian servicemen, volunteers, medics, families of the deceased, refugees, prisoners of war, civilian hostages, and deported Ukrainian children. Separate prayers were also offered for Ukraine, the United States, and the leadership of both countries.
The evening’s special guest was military chaplain Serhiy Buzko, who recently arrived from Ukraine. He shared with those present testimonies about the service of the Church and the chaplaincy mission in wartime.
The literary part of the program was a performance by Elina Volotko, who read a poem dedicated to prayer, and a musical gift for the participants was a performance by Oleg Karpyk.
The initiators of the event are Stepan Skots, Svitlana Iotko and the public organization Sunflower Society | Pro-Ukrainian Rallies Sacramento.
This time, the prayer evening was held with the support of USKO Realty, which provided the premises for the meeting.
The organizers emphasize that “Ukrainian Night” has already become an important tradition of the Ukrainian community of Sacramento, as every month it unites people in joint prayer, mutual support and work on charitable and public initiatives aimed at helping Ukraine and Ukrainians who have suffered from the war.
