"Regarding the candidates for the position of ambassador to the United States of America. This is really very important for Ukraine. Now we are approaching the unblocking of the negotiation process. We need an ambassador to the US, we need Patriots. It is very important not to be mistaken here. Therefore, there are candidates - I will not say yet who these candidates are, but first of all I need to get detailed information. And not only from the Security Service of Ukraine, but also from NABU. I am waiting for this additional information, and we will make a decision,” he said.

Zelensky said the United States is exploring options for a winter de-escalation and resumption of talks

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated, that the United States is exploring the possibility of steps to de-escalate the war between Ukraine and Russia during the winter period. This also includes the simultaneous resumption of negotiations on a broader peace agreement. In an interview with Axios, Zelensky noted that the period before winter could create additional space for diplomacy. At the same time, he noted that Russia also has its own risks, and Ukraine can cause economic damage to it, in particular, by affecting the possibilities of exporting oil, gas and agricultural products.
