This weekend, the annual Ukrainian Picnic was held at Croatian Park in Franklin, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
"This event not only brought together our community from across the state, but also served as a great opportunity to support Ukraine, raise awareness of its needs, promote Ukrainian culture, and unite the diaspora", said the organisers of the picnic, Wisconsin Ukrainians, Inc.
For the picnic guests, the organisers prepared areas with entertainment and Ukrainian souvenirs, handmade jewellery from talented artisans. There was also a play area with children's activities and chess.
And of course, what's a picnic without tasting Ukrainian delicacies and enjoying live music by local artists and amateurs?
This is a charity event, so the organisers will use all the money raised to help Ukraine.
