Ukraine expects to receive the first installment of $3.9 billion in direct budget support in the coming weeks, out of a total of $7.85 billion.
The issue was discussed during a meeting between Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine's Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker.
"We discussed ways to further accelerate Ukraine's economic recovery and increase private sector investment," Ms. Pritzker said.
Negotiations were also held with the heads of American companies Amentum, Clayco and WestingHouse on investments in Ukraine's economic recovery.
