Ukrainian Restaurant Ruta has won a prestigious award from Washingtonian Magazine - Best of Washington.
Ruta won the People's Choice Award and was also honored for the best dessert - a multi-layered Ukrainian honey cake on Capitol Hill.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markova congratulated the predominantly Ukrainian team on her Facebook page and thanked them for their constant promotion of Ukrainian cuisine in Washington and their continued support.
