The women's national team defeated South Korea 45-42 in the final of the team sabre competition! In the decisive fight, Olga Harlan scored three decisive points to bring the victory to the team.
The team consisted of Olga Kharlan, Alina Komashchuk, Yulia Bakastova and Olena Kravatska.
This is the sixth medal for Olga Kharlan, making her the most decorated athlete in the history of independent Ukraine. For Yulia Bakastova, this is the first Olympics where she won gold right away.
This is the third medal for the Ukrainian team at this year's Olympics.
