The Canadian town of Dauphin was transformed into a vibrant celebration of Ukrainian culture. The 59th National Ukrainian Festival brought together hundreds of guests who spent three days enjoying performances by Ukrainian bands, tasting traditional dishes, participating in master classes and competitions. The festival became a true cultural extravaganza, bringing together Ukrainians from all over North America.

In early August, the 59th National Ukrainian Festival of Canada took place in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada, attracting hundreds of visitors.
Over the course of three days, dozens of Ukrainian bands from all over North America performed on three stages. The first day of the festival featured a show by Canada's National Riding Cossacks & Co. The performance featured Cossacks on horseback and dancers.
"On the second day, the organizers and participants of the festival marched through the central streets of Dauphin with a solemn parade. Also on this day, a competition for the fastest eating of dumplings was held", the state agency reported.
The mayor of Dauphin, Glen Simard, local officials and officials recorded greetings to the participants of the festival.
The Canadian National Ukrainian Festival takes place every August in Dauphin and dates back to the initiative of the Dauphin Chamber of Commerce in 1965. The festival's mission is to preserve and promote Ukrainian heritage and identity.
