The Ukrainian community was one of the most prominent participants in North Alabama's annual international festival, iFest 2024, which took place on October 5, drawing the attention of visitors with its rich cultural heritage. Ukrainians took an active part in the Parade of Nations, proudly carrying their national flags and displaying traditional clothing.
At the festival, the Ukrainian community set up a demonstration pavilion where Ukrainian folk crafts such as embroidery, pottery and woodworking could be seen.
Ukrainian dancers and musicians entertained guests with traditional dances and songs that convey the spirit and richness of Ukrainian culture.
Ukrainians also held educational sessions, telling about the history and present of their country, introducing guests to national holidays and the values of Ukrainian culture.
The iFest 2024 festival became another platform for representatives of different cultures, where in addition to Ukraine, Poland, Ghana, India, Ireland, Mexico and other countries were represented, making the event a true celebration of international unity and cultural exchange.
