The 15th Annual Ukrainian Festival was held at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Whippany, New Jersey, on the grounds of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. The event with delicious food, entertainment and vendors was organized by the Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey.
This was reported by the organizer of the event, Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey.
The festival is traditionally held every year on the fourth Saturday of September. This year's event featured delicious homemade food, a colorful stage program, shopping and live music. Flavorful roast pork and decadent desserts were also served.
Several chapters of the Ukrainian Women's Union of America also participated in the festival.
"A big thank you to the Soyuziankas from several New Jersey chapters who organized and volunteered at the festival bakery and food court... Thank you to the festival organizers, volunteers, cultural center staff, sponsors, performers and vendors who make the festival a success each year," said the UNWLA, New Jersey Regional Council.
Despite the rain and cloudy weather, the festival brought a lot of positive emotions to everyone who attended.
At the end of the festival there was a "Zabava" with live music by the band "Kryla" and dancing. All proceeds from the event will be used to support Ukraine.
