Penny Pritzker, American businesswoman, former U.S. Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Special Envoy for Economic Recovery in Ukraine, has been awarded the Order of Princess Olga, First Class, by decree of the President of Ukraine. The ceremony took place in Washington, D.C., and the award was presented by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova.

The award was given for "a significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and popularizing Ukraine in the world".
In her speech, Pritzker thanked everyone who worked with her, including representatives of the U.S. administration who supported Ukraine. She also expressed her deep respect for the Ukrainian military and civilians who are contributing to Ukraine's victory.
"During my tenure as Special Envoy, I have met countless Ukrainians - soldiers, doctors, civic leaders, entrepreneurs, cooks, factory workers, refugees, children," Pritzker said during the ceremony.
She added that she accepts the award with the understanding that their work together is aimed at helping Ukrainians achieve peace and victory.
