UECC Oktoberfest - A Colorful Celebration with German Roots and Ukrainian Flavor

The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center (UECC) in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, hosted its annual Oktoberfest. The event became a real celebration for the local community. 

This was reported by the organizers of the event, the UECC Ukrainian Center.

"It was a great pleasure to see so many familiar faces come together for a day of delicious food, great beer, great music, and great company. Your presence made the day truly special. Our sincere thanks to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this event possible," said the organizers.

The Ukrainian Center noted that this fantastic day not only provided an unforgettable experience, but also emphasized the strength and unity of the Ukrainian-American community, adding a Ukrainian flavor to the traditional German holiday.

Guests, families with children enjoyed live music, sports competitions, games, face painting, raffles and a variety of Ukrainian dishes along with their favorite BBQ. Visitors had the opportunity to meet friends and enjoy Ukrainian beer.

The organizers are looking forward to the next Oktoberfest in 2025 and are already preparing for the next big event, the Christmas Bazaar and Food Festival on December 14.

Background The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center is a community center with more than 30 organizations. There is a Ukrainian library, a Ukrainian kindergarten, and a Ukrainian K-12 school. The center offers rental space for meetings, gatherings, events, etc.
