"Crimea is Ukraine": The Ukrainian National Museum Celebrated the Original Crimean Culture

The Ukrainian Cultural Center in Chicago hosted a unique evening - the annual charity event "Crimea is Ukraine: Celebrating the Rich Heritage of Crimean Culture," dedicated to Crimean Tatar culture and the historical significance of Crimea as an integral part of Ukraine. The event gathered numerous guests who had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich Crimean heritage through music, cinema, art and traditional crafts.

This was reported by the Ukrainian National Museum.

"Thank you to all our guests who attended the UNM Gala. It was an extremely important, informative and successful event... and no one wanted it to end!" said the Ukrainian National Museum.

The evening's program was rich and varied. Guests enjoyed live music that conveyed the soul of Crimean Tatar culture and watched films that reflected important moments in the history and life of the Crimean Tatars. The cuisine, inspired by Crimean Tatar dishes, gave guests a real culinary treat, allowing them to experience the unique taste of Crimea through traditional dishes. The event also included an auction.

The event was an important one for the Ukrainian diaspora, which seeks to maintain ties with Crimea and support its cultural identity in the international arena. The evening emphasized that Crimea is Ukraine and that the rich culture and heritage of the region is an integral part of the national heritage that should be supported and preserved.
