In North Dakota, the Assumption Abbey in Richardson hosted a Christmas concert, Lessons and Carols, organized by Dakota Pro Musica. The event brought together fans of a cappella music and Christmas carols. As part of the fourth annual concert, the audience was able to enjoy a rare Ukrainian carol, "Oh What Wonder".

The traditional Ukrainian song "Oh What Wonder," arranged by Vasyl Barvinsky, was performed by soprano Jane Gowen, a native of North Dakota and a student at Shenandoah Conservatory. The singer presented the composition in Ukrainian, working on her diction in collaboration with the Ukrainian Classical Voice Project, which helps popularize Ukrainian musical heritage. They emphasized the importance of preserving the Ukrainian musical heritage and thanked the singer for her skillful performance.
The concert also included a performance of traditional Christmas carols, and the event attracted a large audience, marking an important end to the Christmas season in the region.
