This weekend, the MidCity neighborhood of Huntsville, Alabama, hosted a festive Holiday Market. More than 150 vendors, local businesses and organizations gathered to offer holiday gifts, hot beverages, treats and fun activities for all visitors. The event also featured a Ukrainian booth.
This was reported by the group Support Ukraine, UKRAINIANS IN USA, ALABAMA, Huntsville Madison.
"We are coming together to raise awareness and support for Ukraine in these difficult times. We invite everyone to join this effort! Come in blue and yellow, talk about it, write on your social media, donate to humanitarian organizations. Thank you for your support!" said Ukrainian activists in Alabama.
Guests enjoyed music, holiday gifts, hot drinks, roasted marshmallows and cocktails. There was also a meeting with Santa Claus and performances by carolers.
In turn, the Ukrainian community held a charity event to support Ukraine. All donations will be used to purchase medicine and food.
