On Saturday, Trinity Church in Boston hosted a live bandura concert. The event, organized by the Ukrainian Cultural Center of New England, brought together supporters of Ukrainian culture who enjoyed the magical sounds of the bandura performed by Ukrainian musician BanduraGirl.
This was reported by Ukrainian Cultural Center of New England.
The purpose of the concert was not only to popularize Ukrainian folk music, but also to help children affected by the war. Thanks to the generosity of the audience, $1,600 was collected. All funds will be used to support the Unbroken Path Art Therapy Center in Ukraine.
The center uses art as a tool to rehabilitate children who have experienced traumatic events. The funds raised will be used to renovate the facility and purchase musical instruments for the classes.
Organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who participated in the event:
"It was truly special to share the warmth and joy of Ukrainian folk music with all of you. We were fascinated by the magical sounds of the bandura in a wonderful performance," said the representatives of the center.
