The Ukrainian community joined the celebration of the event "East Meets West" in Seattle

A festive event organized by the Ethnic Heritage Council of the Pacific Northwest was held at the MLK F.A.M.E. Community Center in Seattle, Washington. Dedicated to the theme "East Meets West," the event marked the festive start of the 2024 winter season. The Ukrainian community also participated in the celebration.

"Thank you to the Ethnic Heritage Council for inviting us to your celebration at the MLK F.A.M.E. Community Center yesterday! HraiMore presented a preview of our Christmas program, performed several community songs, and even managed to include a social dance! Thank you for your warm welcome!" the post reads.

Guests enjoyed live music, dancing, interactive activities, and festive dishes, including roast turkey and Indonesian rice. 

The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants for their warm reception and noted that the event will be remembered for the many pleasant surprises that created a festive atmosphere for everyone.

"HraiMore" is a Ukrainian folk orchestra founded in Bellevue, Washington, in 2022 by volunteers who share a passion for authentic Ukrainian culture.
