Liberty Ukraine Foundation organized the Winter Wonderland Charity Fair in New York City at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, which brought together the Ukrainian community and city guests with a rich program of workshops, performances and fair activities. The goal of the event was to raise funds for drones for Ukrainian defenders.
This was reported by exhibition.
Throughout the day, guests had the opportunity to participate in master classes in pottery, Yavoriv painting, candle making and decorating, and belt weaving with master craftswoman Halyna Shepko. The FPV demonstration was particularly popular: visitors learned how to assemble quadcopters and saw how these technologies are helping the Ukrainian military on the front lines. A total of 150 drones were to be assembled and sent to the Ukrainian military.
Ukrainian products were also on display at the fair: Christmas decorations, handmade Ukrainian toys, army patches, T-shirts of legendary players from the Ukrainian national soccer team, jewelry, and more. A delicious addition to the event was a baking fair, where everyone could taste traditional Ukrainian delicacies.
A special atmosphere was created by the Ukrainian Village Voices, who gave a unique performance full of Ukrainian song tradition and Christmas spirit.
All funds raised during the fair will be used to purchase drones for the Ukrainian military, once again underscoring the solidarity and support of the Ukrainian community in New York.
The organizers thanked all participants and guests of the event for their support, noting that such initiatives not only help Ukraine, but also unite people around a common goal.
