On January 19, the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center and the Ukrainian Women's Union of America Chapter 128 hosted a memorable Christmas program, "In Bethlehem News," in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. The event featured carols, a festive atmosphere filled with traditional warmth.
This was reported UECC Ukrainian Center.
"Thank you to our talented performers, dedicated volunteers, and everyone who joined us to enjoy the holiday. Your presence and participation made this event a great success. We are very grateful to have shared this treasured cultural experience with you," said the organizers.
The centerpiece of the event was a theatrical performance organized by the creative team of the Ukrainian Women's League (UNWLA, Branch 128) of Philadelphia, which skillfully recreated Christmas traditions and conveyed the spirit of the Ukrainian people. Guests also enjoyed performances by the Dzvin Choir and the Dzvonyky Children's Ensemble, directed by Vira Hubytska.
The program included not only a cultural part, but also a traditional festive dinner, which allowed everyone to feel the atmosphere of a real Ukrainian Christmas Eve. An additional pleasant moment was a festive lottery with prizes.
Despite the snowy weather, the event attracted a large audience, demonstrating the community's desire to preserve Ukrainian traditions and pass them on to future generations.
The UECC Ukrainian Center assures that the next events will provide even more opportunities to unite around common cultural values.
